Westchester Health Pediatrics Launches New Facebook Page With Creative Fundraiser
Popular Pediatric Practice To Donate $1 Per “Like” Up To $1,500 In Support Of Make-A-Wish® Hudson Valley
Katonah, NY, March 30, 2015 — Westchester Health Pediatrics (WHP) today is announcing a social media fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley, to offer its support to a very worthy cause and to launch its new Facebook page.
Starting today, WHP will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley for each “like” that the new Facebook page receives – up to 1,500 likes. The promotion will remain active until the new Facebook page reaches that milestone.
Since Facebook is among one of the most popular ways for parents to stay in touch with each other, WHP decided to launch its own Facebook page, so that it becomes a popular place for parents to receive the latest WHP news.
“The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley has helped more than 2,300 local children and their families during very challenging times,” said Lauren Adler, MD, a WHP pediatrician. “We’re delighted to offer our support through our Facebook fundraiser, which will help fulfill future wishes expressed by other children with life-threatening conditions.”
To participate in the fundraiser, go to www.facebook.com/pediatricswestchester now to “like” the page. By doing that, you’ll support the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley and also start to see WHP updates in your news feed as they’re posted.
“We are very happy that the doctors at Westchester Health Pediatrics honored the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley through this very creative fundraiser, which will help more local children with life-threatening medical conditions to realize their dreams,” said Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley President and CEO Thomas Conklin. “Support like this from a leading pediatric practice means a great deal to us – and to the children and families in our community.”
