I am happy to have you as my patient and will care for you from birth until you complete college. The goal is to keep you healthy and to make our visits as pleasurable as possible. A doctor visit can be fun and we might even laugh together. If you are ill, my priority is to develop a treatment plan for you to recuperate as quickly as possible and get you back to school or work.
Your interests are my interests. In addition to your growth and development, academics and extracurricular activities, I am interested in how you spend your leisure time. We can discuss film, music, sports, current events, etc as well as your goals and aspirations.
Confidentiality is of utmost importance. Alcohol and drug use, sexuality and other sensitive subjects will be discussed in a nonjudgmental manner with absolute privacy and confidentiality. I have a particular interest in adolescent medicine and completed an adolescent medicine fellowship after my residency.
As a team physician for a local high school for many years, I have experience in exercise and sports injuries and have access to excellent specialists, as needed. I no longer play baseball or softball, but stay in shape playing tennis and paddle tennis. I am an avid baseball fan, and admit to being a New York Mets fan which leads to many interesting discussions.
My availability to you is very important and I want to be a resource for you. I offer call time in the morning and will respond to your calls or messages quickly. Urgent visits will always be accommodated and office waiting time is minimal. Quality, comprehensive care is my ultimate goal. We accept new patients and I look forward to meeting you.
